About Us

T2 Training Founder Todd Turner. Todd graduated from the University of Michigan in 1996 with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Exercise Science. Todd has long been a practitioner and advocate of physical fitness, spending most of his life as both student and teacher.

Todd Turner
I began strength training and conditioning when I was 14 years old, and early on was comfortable in a gym environment. From working in and managing gyms, to honing my skills as a personal trainer, I ultimately developed a passion to help people achieve their personal goals, from strength training and endurance, to weight management and stress reduction.

My success as a personal trainer is a result of the immense joy and satisfaction I receive from helping others realize meaningful life changes. My philosophy extends beyond the weight room or gym, as I promote a holistic approach to life – a combination of physical, mental and spiritual well being.

Outside the gym I devote my energies to helping others, like volunteering with organizations such as Down Syndrome Guild of Southeast Michigan and Coalition on Temporary Shelter in Detroit.  (A portion of our profits will go toward these charities)

I am currently on the board of directors for Beverly Hills Little League, where I’ve also been a coach for the past five years. I recently teamed up with my brother Paul to offer baseball clinical instruction to kids in the local community. For information on that you can visit our sister site at www.t2baseball.com.

I have three beautiful girls, including twins and a special needs child. Being the father of a special needs child fuels my desire to work with and help kids of all ages, especially children with disabilities.

My methods and teaching philosophies have evolved over the years, but one thing that’s remained constant is my never-ending pursuit of accomplishment – not only for myself, but my growing clientele as well.

Amanda Boiko
Amanda is a certified personal trainer who understands and relates to people who are struggling with their weight. She became a personal trainer because of her experience of being overweight in her early teenage years. Hitting her heaviest at 176 pounds, she finally said “ENOUGH!” From there she started weight training and eating better, which proved to be her “new beginning.” Her passion is helping people achieve their goals by transforming their bodies and lives forever. “I believe that with determination and dedication you can achieve anything. Don’t wait another minute, YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF!”
